ARTIST STATEMENT
I am Helsinki based artist who’s focused on sculpture, installation and I’m expanding to video art as well. I have just graduated as Master of Fine Arts. My works are based on personal emotional experiences and the thoughts that arises from them that need to put into a visual form in order to process them. The emotion becomes something that can be held in your hands or something you can go inside and share with others to experience. My works take the shape of colourful organisms that resemble something nature produces. Things that are alive but not thinking. Creating something new from raw materials is still a magical procedure to me. My style is maximalist, but detailed, which is why my works take time. Yet nothing makes me happier than working on them.
